A1 AmmoNIL
(Reduces ammonia and toxic gases in pond bottom)
A1 Ammonil is a synergistic blend of carefully selected probiotic spp. and Yucca which are capable of nitrification activities. Yucca schidigera has abundant amounts of saponin and resveratrol, which can eliminate the waterborne ammonia and lower its impacts on aquatic animals’ performance and health.
Shrimp feed is rich in protein content, when the left over feed, digested feed in the form of fecal matter and dead planktons accumulates in the pond environment the proteins degrades to form the nitrogenous compounds. The nitrogenous compounds are in the form of ammonia and nitrites which interfere in the oxygen displacement in water and affect the shrimp haemolymph in interfering the oxygen displacement leading to respiratory diseases and create mass mortality in the shrimps causing heavy monetary losses to the farmers.
Composition: AmmoNIL is a blend of selected plant extracts and Yucca schidigera extract (50%)

Field Trial
Objective:
Reduction of Ammonia in pond water
Design:
Two earthen shrimp ponds (1.0 acre/pond) with a depth of 4ft were stocked with PL-9 (approximately 1.0 lakh shrimps) in which our product A1 Ammonil applies in one pond and one pond kept as a control. A dose of 200 g per acre was calculated and applied to the test pond.
Trial Parameters:
Monitoring of ammonia level before and after application of the product. Tolerable limit of ammonia is Total Ammonia <1.0 ppm & Free Ammonia <0.1 ppm.
Results:
Results show that total ammonia of the pond reduced after 72 h of inoculation of A1 Ammonil in comparison with the control pond.
A1 NitroNIL
A1 NitroNIL is a synergistic blend of carefully selected probiotic spp. which are capable of denitrification activities.
During the process of nitrification, ammonia is reduced to nitrite and then to nitrate by nitrifying bacteria. In general nitrate should be maintained below 50 mg/L in Aquaculture ponds. These denitrifying bacterial reduces nitrate to nitrogen gas, which is harmless and bubble out of the system
Denitirification Process:
NO3− → NO2− → NO + N2O → N2 (g)
